'[PIC]: PIC16F627 external resistor oscillator'

Hi list,

Just wondering if anyone has used the PIC16F627 or PIC16F628
with a single external resistor to set the oscillator frequency (ER
mode), if so where did you get the info from?

Data sheet (DS40400B) refers to the Electrical Specifications but I
cant find anything relevant. The only spec I can see is that the
oscillator range is 10kHz to 8MHz in ER mode, but what I really
want to see is a graph of frequency vs resistance.

Thanks,

Brent Brown

I would start with the graphs Jinx has done for the 16x84 series in the
absence of any other info. See his post immediately before yours.
