Hi all, An interesting bit of news this morning for those wanting to try MPLAB 6. With permission from Microchip, here it is.. http://www.microchip.com/download/tools/picmicro/devenv/v6xx/mplide59512.exe Microchip also say this is very early and another version is expected soon. The installation requests that you have Internet Explorer 4 or higher installed on your system. However, I found that even with IE4 on my system it won't install. I tried it on another PC with IE 6 installed and it worked. Had a look at this a couple of days ago. Note that it is actually V5.95 and that there are only the 18xx and dsPIC devices available. It's an interesting preview regardless. uChip has changed the project format somewhere along the way (one or two releases before this one), and older projects have to be converted.
