'[PIC]: Need help using MPLAB-ICE under Windows NT '

Guys:
I'm trying to run an MPLAB-ICE under Windows NT, but MPLAB seems
unable to communicate with the emulator.
Background:
MPLAB can talk to the MPLAB-ICE just fine under Win3.1 on this
machine.
I'm using MPLAB v5.0.
I installed MPLAB5 from within Windows NT, then rebooted my
machine after installing it.
The Problem:
When I open the "Development Mode" dialog box and look at the
"Ports" tab, it shows Address "0000" and Type "None" for all
three LPT ports. When I select LPT1 anyway, I get an "Illegal
Parallel Port Selected" Error message. Hitting the "Query
ports" button doesn't change anything.
The MPLAB help file says that there's a known problem in which NT
reports a different address for the parallel port than the one which
MPLAB is expecting. That's fine -- it certainly seems like an
accurate diagnosis of my problem -- but the advice given in the help
file to fix the problem is just wrong. It says to change the address
under ControlPanel>System>DeviceManager, but I don't HAVE a "Device
Manager" tab in my System control panel; that tab only exists in
Win95 and 98 (and maybe 2000).
So... What do I do? Someone on the list MUST be successfully running
MPLAB-ICE under Windows NT... Help!
