'[PIC]: Multimediacard interface (also PIClite comp'

Hi,
I've just stumbled across a copy of the SanDisk MultiMediaCard Product
Manual and I wondered if anyone has managed to hook an MMC up to a PIC.
These things look ideal for smaller PICs with low pincounts - they use a
serial (similar to SPI) interface to communicate with the host. They also
seem to be quite cheap, too. Anyone care to work out how many hours an
8-channel datalogger will run for when it's storing the data on a 32MB MMC?
Also, has anyone got a copy of the "PIClite" compiler that Myke Predko
released a few years ago? I'm after the source code so I can improve it (add
support for other chips, etc) but all the email I send to Myke seems to
bounce...
Later.
