The interface to both the transmitter & receiver are thru MAX232 chips to convert the rs-232 to TTL levels. David, The data sheet at www.okwelectronics.com/datasheets/DS.0009.pdf mentions data rate of 50Hz to 4Khz and TTL/CMOS input. I am not sure exactly what are the input/output requirements, are you suppose to have some kind of modulation or can you connect directly the RS232 signal and have it on the other side. I suggest to contact the manufacturer and ask for more information, or possibly somebody here on the list has experience with this kind of modules. A friend of mine did something similar short time ago, I will try to get from him info what modules he use and what was the interface. Tal > {Original Message removed}

Have a look at http://www.rfsolutions.co.uk - ISTR they're the original manufacturers of the AM-RT4 and AM-HRR3. I've got a pair of them lying around somewhere. They're a pain to work with though. I hope you're not feeding 12V RS232 into a transmitter module that's only supposed to accept 5V maximum...
