'[PIC]: MPLAB set prg end address'

Is there any way I can get the Picstart plus and MPLAB to
program say 0000-07FF (25% of the memory) by default ?
Would be nice not to haveto wait while it programs 3 empty
pages... I found out I can go in the menu:
Picstartplus -> program/verify and change end address but
as soon as that window is closed the setting goes away.

I agree that delay between changing some code and seeing it run is annoying. But
I hear it used to be *much* worse.
I'm using MPLAB 5.30 and using a ``ICD'' board (``Options | Development Mode |
MPLAB ICD Debugger'') to program and single-step debug the PIC on my board.
By carefully watching the Status messages after I hit the ``Program'' button, I
see that the address of the location being programmed ``skips over'' my empty
pages. ( Someone told me this only happens when I enable ``[Y] Erase All before
Program'' ).
Looks like those Microchip people are way ahead of us.
