Post by thread:[PIC]: MPLAB problems resolved

Earlier, I asked for help getting MPLAB to function correctly on one of my computers (all other software *appeared* to be working ok). Yesterday, I bit the bullet and did a re-install of Win98: bingo! No problem. MPLAB works fine now. Something somewhere was seriously bent. My thanks to those who made helpful suggestions! As usual the piclist is the place to go for solutions, even uncommented ones! It turned out that the connector where the power supply cord plugs into the ICE 2000 isn't what it should be. I got rid of my problems by pushing it in REAL HARD. Thanks to you I found it's REAL limitation of 25 MHz. Perhaps thats the problem.
