'[PIC]: MPLAB 6.3 and IDC 1'

Hello all.

I am using MPLAB 5.70.40 and ICD1 in my current projects. Now I plan to
update to MPLAB 6.30, but it seems not to work with ICD1. It seems to
work with ICD2, both using RS232 or USB.

What is the problem with the old ICD version?

Is this an initial problem that will be solved in the near future? Or is
Microchip going to abandon the ICD1 series?

Thanks,

Alvaro Deibe.

P.S.: At home I work with an ICD2. At work we have some 4 ICD1 and an
ICE2000.

It's obsolete.

I thought they already had.

Thanks, Olin.

Though, I don't understand really why don't they integrate the ICD1 in
the new MPLAB. I think that it wolud be easy, and there are many ICD1
still working.
