Post by thread:[PIC]: MPLAB 6.3 and IDC 1

Hello all. I am using MPLAB 5.70.40 and ICD1 in my current projects. Now I plan to update to MPLAB 6.30, but it seems not to work with ICD1. It seems to work with ICD2, both using RS232 or USB. What is the problem with the old ICD version? Is this an initial problem that will be solved in the near future? Or is Microchip going to abandon the ICD1 series? Thanks, Alvaro Deibe. Thanks, Olin. Though, I don't understand really why don't they integrate the ICD1 in the new MPLAB.
