Hi,

Does anyone here use the ISIS lite and/or ProSpice lite sotware that these
guys make http://www.labcenter.co.uk ?

I'm intrigued by the PIC SPICE simulator stuff and I'm looking for an entry
level version of SPICE to work with.

Ted,

I've been playing with the demo version of their software for a while and
I'm seriously considering
splashing out for it. It took a while to get into- to find where things were
etc.. but the PIC emulation
was great- along with all the extra things like LCD models makes it a good
development environment and
definately worth the money IMHO.

Hi,

Yes, I'm using the ISIS/Prospice Lite for some time now. For PIC work I
basiccaly use it for prove-of-principle type work. It's quite usefull to see
in real time the actions of your programs on hardware that actually 'lives',
like LCD displays, keypads, switches, buzzer etc. They now have also a model
for an I2S memory chip.
I have their starter pack which is the professional ISIS + the PCB layout.
So, once I have proved my principle, I flesh it out in ISIS and design the
PCB with the starter pack (which is UKP 195).

For me it does all I need both for analog, digital and PIC design.

Also, the support at Labcenter is second to none. Even as an ISI
lite/Prospice Lite (UKP 70 or thereabouts) user you are entitled to tel
support, and no waiting lines!
