Hi all,
I've put another page on line with a description and example code for
controlling the brightness of LEDs using analog input to the ADC, rather
than controlling the current to the LEDs. I use the ADC value to set
up TMR0 to call an interrupt function that turns the LEDs on and off at a
variable duty cycle determined byu the position of a variable resistor
connected to the ADC input. I've used this with both directly-driven LEDs
and with a large array driven by 2n2222 type transistors, all with no
current limiting resistors for the LEDs. The page is at:
