I have both the PSP and the ICD2 and both have worked out of the box (as
have the ICE2000 and the Pro Mate II).  I can program an 18F6620 in just a
couple of minutes so something must be a bit screwy with your setup.

One thing to note with the ICD2 that has burned me is that it does not
support any operations (i..e programming or debugging) at voltages under
4.5volts.  Hope they get that fixed soon as all the stuff I do is 3.3volts.

Regards

Mike

Im using XP and from what I understand.  That may be the problem.   Seems
5.7 or 6.0 do not work very well with XP.

we've problems with the icd2 too, one module worked for about 5 hours, then
the clock signal went to GND ...

now i've a new icd2-module and all worked fine ...

we've never problems with 6.0 running and an usb-port connection to the icd2
... (all tested under windows 2000 sp3)
