1. Open your BRD project.
2. File/CAM Procesor (or CAM button in tool menu)
3. In CAM Procesor window: File/Open/Job
4. Select "gerb274x.cam"
5. Press Proces JOB
6. 6 files will be generated (in project folder probably) with BRD name and
extension  .CMP .GPI .PLC .SOL .STC .STS

NOTE : You can change folder to be generated those files if you set path in
File: for exm.
C:\Temp\.cmp for Component side, C:\Temp\.sol for Solder side .... for all 5
tabs

If you don't understand mail me private

I use a standard text editor to view the output files -
and I thought Eagle had a text editor built-in.

These turn out (and had better be!) standard text files.

If you want to see the Gerber output graphically, then you will need to get
a Gerber viewer.  This is a good idea to review the Gerbers before sending
them to a board house, make sure your dimension layer is really on the
print, that you didn't output the top and bottom copper layers on the same
plot, and other such goofs.

There are several good free Gerber viewers.  My favorite is GC-Prevue from
Graphicode  http://www.graphicode.com
There is another one from Lanier, and from CamCad.

The programs are pretty self-explanatory, and almost always crippleware for
free, but if all you are doing is reviewing Gerbers, not editing them, then
these will work fine for you.

www.lavenir.com/Download/download.html

Download a free copy of Viewmate. You can import each gerber layer into
a Viewmate layer and see it there. Of course, they'd like you to buy the
whole package which is quite nice too...
