Does anyone know of a 8-bit microchip processor that has 2 UARTS and FLASH.
I am currently using the 17C756A and would like a FLASH version.

Thanks

I would also like a chip like this. I haven't looked, but perhaps the
18f series? Just a guess.

Got a need to read Bar codes?  http://www.barcodechip.com
Bi-directional read of UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, EAN-13, JAN, and Bookland, with
two or five digit supplemental codes, in an 8 pin chip, with NO external parts.

The 17C76X do not have internal flash, but can be connected to external flash.
We actual have a device that does that.

There are a few 18F6XXX and 18F8XXX parts slated to come out with two UARTS.

If you're willing use a TI device, check out the TMS430s there's a line with
flash and 2 UARTS.  They're 16-bit, low current and pretty cheap, can't run them
all that fast.

No, but it can execute out of an external flash.  We do that for one of our
products.
