Actually, the instruction set differences between the 12-bit and 14-bit
cores are that the 12-bit cores do not have the following instructions:

ADDLW
SUBLW
RETFIE
RETURN

RETLW XXh

Ignore the XXh in W if not needed.

On a 12-bit core PIC, use RETLW (it's the only "RETURN" type instruction
available).

I think the closest equivalent is 'retlw'.

You use RETLW, so you have to corrupt W when returning.

Alexandre,

If you'd like, I can send you a chart that compares the (currently) four
different instruction set types and which flags each instruction modifies.

Fellow PICLISTers:

Thank you the your responses about my PIC Instruction Set Comparison Matrix.

You can access the matrix from my web site at EPICIS.PICLIST.COM

A link to the matrix page appears on the left side.

If any one would like a poster-size (13"x19") printed copy, suitable for
framing (or lining your bird cage), please contact at my email address shown
below. Be sure to let me know your mailing address. Also, while the poster
is free, depending upon where (in the world) you live, I may ask for a
donation to help defray shi[[ing costs.

The link gives me a 404 error.  The path
http://www.piclist.com/techref/member/DW--RA4/ is ok as the index.htm pages
loads.  However PICISM.HTM dosen't seem to be there.

Regards
