Hello list !

I would like to know if anybody knows how to detect a whistle with a PIC.
My goal is to power on a light.
I would like that when someone whistle (or any other sound ?) with a
particular way, the PIC detects it.
Thanks a lot,

Matthieu.

Use a teltone M980 chip for sound input and ttl level out. Output pulse is in relation to input level and duration. Simple no external parts, one pin in, one pin out. Pic decides what to do with pulse out of it. Used in call progress/answer detection in phone systems.
