Hello,

I'm having some very strange problems that seens to be related to a bug
on PCHs memory allocation. There is someone else having problems with it?

For example, I have a program that fills 26% of ROM and 32% of ROM on a
PIC18F452 where if I just change a variable type from byte to word, the PIC
keeps resseting at the start of the main().

Maybe if someone else is having those kind of problems, we could try to
track it. This problem is very hard to isolate because it only appears when
you have a big program with lots of variables.

   Thank you,

   Brusque

Have you reported the bug to CCS, and have you tried the user forum on
CCS' web site?  I know there are some very active PCH users there
(unfortunately I'm not one of them).
