Hi Tony,

I don't know about 1-offs at cheap prices but Farnell sells a very limitted
range at high prices (1 up).

A better bet is to place an order with Future Electronics which is the official
distributor for (I think) the whole country -- they sell basically every known
PIC. They'll sell them VERY cheap but you need to order tube quantities and
maybe spend AUS $250 per order. I got 18F452's this way for about AUS $5 each
(by tube), including tax. From Farnell I think they would be about $20 (1+
quantities), if they stocked them.

Cheers

Scott

Hi Tony, Arrow have them in stock and will sell
singles, at least if they know you. :o)

If you get stuck I can send you one, but I only
have 2 here.

Not in Oz but these people seem to have 18F.
A friend referred me to them - he ordered from them and was impressed with
their response. He said their pricing was very good for what he wanted.

While the site gives no great clue as to where they are based and the proces
are in $US he SAID that they are in Thailand (if I heard correctly) ! -
matters not too much if it works.
