'[PIC]: 16f628 beginner in c2c'

I would like to know if there are any resources on the
internet on programming the 16f628 pic with C2C.  Is
it the same as 16f877 only with less pins?  I would
really just like to know how to use pwm and the a\d
part but any more would be greatly appreciated.

NO, the peripherals are quite different.

There's no A/D in the F628 so you're scuppered from the get out.

You might want to consider reading the datasheets, even the first page
would tell you this. http://www.microchip.com

Sadly, there is no a/d function in the 628.  There are comparators
though.

No, the peripheral set differs.  The 16F628 comparators wake up with its
pins set for analog input.  Code for 16F877 may not change this because
the 16F877 has not comparator.

See my environment at http://www.embedinc.com/pic.  The PORT module is
written to initialize all pins for digital I/O regardless of PIC type.
Code written with this environement would port from a 16F877 to 16F628
without modification as long as it only used the features common to both.

You won't find examples for that because the 16F628 has no A/D.  My HAL
project at http://www.embedinc.com/pic/hal.htm uses both the A/D and
hardware PWM of an 16F876.  This one really is like the 16F877 with fewer
pins.

Never seen any C2C sources on your site!

And you won't.  I didn't notice he was asking about C2C explicitly.
