But not just that. I get this error on also if the code in the F87x and editor don't match, also after changing config bits and not reprogramming, etc. Another suggestion to the problem could be that you use the registers and program space reserved for ICD. Check your ICD help file to see that you do not use the ICD resources. Quentin
