Hello, I have an MPLAB ICD, the one with PIC16C73. I have a bunch of PIC16F873, and would like to use the new ICD software that cames with the last MPLAB, it's on the file MPL876.HEX IIRC, but it's for an 'F876. I've noticed that the .HEX have a lot of holes, so I think an 'F873 would be enough to run it. Have anyone here modified the .HEX (or have access to the .ASM) so it can run on an 'F873? It will be interesting to see what happens with your substitution. Of course, you do know that all this is un-ethical, and its morally wrong, but I guess we are doing it anyway, huh? Maybe Jesus or Mohammed or Buddha or somebody will forgive us our trespasses.
