Maybe you should specify which *hardware* this software should
work together with...

Jan-Erik.

Sorry, forgot that. I use a standard JDM programmer. In the past, I was
working with a 16F628 and I programmed it with IC-PROG, but I changed
the model to 16F648A which is compatible, but has more code size. And
now I see that IC-PROG won't program it :(

My Wisp628 will do a 16F648A. I sell it as kit or build, but all details
are also available for DIY.

Thank you, Wouter and Jan-Erik for your replies, luckily I have found a
working version of IC-Prog which will program the 16F648A. Weird thing,
I had also the same version (1.05C), but this I have found contains more
supported devices. Is it possible to add new devices to IC-Prog ?

Where did you get it, and will it program a 16F88?

You ask me? I sell the Wisp628. Yes, it will do a 16F88, but maybe that
needs the XWisp version that is not yet on my website.

I think he was asking me, but unfortunately 16F88 is not among the list
of supported devices for IC-PROG 1.05C.
