It'll be my first this year, really looking forward to it.

BTW, a little confused on the dress code: they say "business casual" but
then recommend shorts. So, does a golf shirt, shorts and running shoes
sound right to people? How "strict" are they with that sort of thing?

Thanks, TTYL

That sounds completely reasonable (at least, it would have been
for the first few Masters conferences; I haven't been in a few
years).  Remember, it's Phoenix in the summer; every building is
air-conditioned, but the outdoor temperature will be above 90
   degrees F every day.

These days, now that they're charging a fee for the conference,
I'm surprised that they even mention a dress code (although
maybe it's more "FYI, this is what everyone else will be wearing"
than "this is what we expect you to wear").  In any case, no one
will send you home because you're dressed inappropriately.

Do any "customers" get a free ride?
curious from a marketing/business perspective...

Hi all,

Would the people who are going to the Microchip Masters conference want to
share some of the highlights with us on the PICLIST once you all get back
(as long as it's not privileged information)? But only if you want to of
course. I would personally love to hear of people's experiences and any
interesting tidbits they learned there -- especially regarding the PAC
architecture and future products if Microchip discusses these topics at all.
Everyone have a great time, and a safe trip!

Thanks very much.

I meant to say PIC24 not PAC! Sorry. I was not paying attention to my spell
checker corrections...

I don't know if anyone gets in for free anymore, Dave.  The first
couple of years, there was no charge for anyone to attend... But
attendance was by invitation only, and only Microchip's certified
consultants (and maybe a handful of their largest customers) were
   invited.
