'[PIC:] Define custom language tool suite for MPLAB'
2003\12\24@151034
by
Gerhard Fiedler
Hi,
I usually use make files for my builds. Now I have people on the team who
develop with MPLAB. Is there a way to configure a custom language tool
(like the built-in compiler tool suites) to use my make files for compiling
and linking? Does anybody have any pointers where the built-in tool suites,
their configuration and function are described?
Thanks,
Gerhard

I'm not certain if this is quite what you're looking for but you might
want to take a look at Olin Lathrop's PIC environment at:
http://www.embedinc.com/pic/
Olin has done quite a bit of work setting up an automated build
environment for PIC projects.
Jan-Erik Soderholm has put together a pdf document on Olin's build
environment. You can find the document at:
http://www.st-anna-data.se/embedinc_11-aug-2003.pdf

Thanks, but even though quite interesting, this is not what I'm currently
looking for. One of the goals is to integrate the Hi-Tech PICC compiler,
arbitrary editors and the Microchip ICD(2).
