Hi all,

I'm very impressed with this country.

I came here for a two weeks training course in Alsbach.

If someone on the list can tell me step by step how to get a train ticket out of the ticket machine I'll appreciate.

I'm in Zwingenberg (Bergstrasse) and would like to go to Heilderberg (Hauptbahnhof) tomorrow

Yes I'll ask at the hotel, but they assume a lot of things, for example that I need change (coins) to get the ticket....

Well, thank a lot to the list.

I know this is nothing to do with pic but the knowledge I got from here, stimulate my study, and now, some how, I'm ending in a training course.

Kindly regards,

Dennis

"Deutsche Bahn ready for partial privatization in 2008"

The way  "partial privatization" has worked here is the
private entity picks up the gate and the taxpayers get
the rest. How's it work in DE?

Hi all,

I am abt 60 km away, and I am quite sure that from Alsbach you will go
to Heidelberg. And yes, I have helped a lot of foreign people with these
super idiotic ticket machines....

It just we don't have such as machines in Argentina, so far.
Usually, I don't like to put a 20 Euros bill, to pick up a 7 euros ticket.
But the people here are very confident in their machines and also do I.
Its really easy, an in combination with the information machine the whole
thing is very fast.
I really love this country.

Bye.
Dennis.

Tried to attend Expo '70 - Flew in to Yokota, and made it
to a train station - Don't remember where anymore - Silly
me, I did'nt speak Japanese or read Kanji, and did'nt know
about Japanese Train Station Rugby. Very educational :)
