Hi, all.
Can anyone point me to some resources concerning MP3 files?
I want to play them back, hopefully at a higher rate of speed than they were
recorded at... :-)

MP3s are significantly easier to decode than to encode (read: It will play back
real time on the same computer that took 5 times longer to encode it)
Go to http://www.MP3.com/ and you will have many resources. I use WINAMP at
home and work.

To play them back, you'll need a decoder chip - I don't think that a PIC, or
even a high-speed SX, is fast enough and has enough code space to do that
kind of decoding.
Check out the STA013 from ST Microelectronics, or the MAS3507D from Micronas
