Are you going to Munich? I can tell you a number of must sees if so. Noting that one man's must see is another mans run a mile. Depending on who is with you, you could do a day trip to Neuschwanstein castle (reputedly the prototype for Disneys Peter Pan castle). A lot of places are within easy day trips on the train, the booking staff at the railway station will all speak good English, so getting a ticket is not a problem. -- Scanned by iCritical.

It's also the castle of "Baron Bomburst" in "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". It's a fascinating place, well worth a visit. It's a pretty long and steep walk up a mountain to reach it if you don't bother with the tour bus!
