As I travel quite a bit, I'd like to replace my USB cables with very short versions -- primarily, a Male-A to Male-Mini-B 3" would be ideal, but 6" would be fine. The prices are ridiculously low. If they work out I'll be using them for cables moving forward. Soldering splices & connectors on that type of cable has been challenging for me. Usually the insulation is very fragile when heated. If you have any advice for the process please pass it along!
