Post by thread:[OT] RAM compatable?

This is way OT, please reply privately. I would like to know if the Toshiba TC5516APC-2 and the Motorola MC6850P Static RAM are compatible. I've searched both the manufacturers sites and I can't even find a reference to any of the two chips. EE design center also comes up with nothing. These chips comes of a board that was manufacture in the 80's. I don't like asking something like this here and I am sure some people don't like seeing posts like this here. So besides EE Design center (http://www1.questlink.com/), is there any other web page where I can look up IC's? Especially one that will help with old or obsolete IC's? Or can anybody recommend a good Data book? Thanks Quentin
