Hello Peter,

I am designing a kind of special pager at the moment,
and I had to specify and test a vibrator in a severe
environment. The ones I was offered in Asia were for
1.3 or 3 Volt operation, and had diameters from 4 thru
7 mm, and one 10mm model.
The companies were Jinlong (China), Formosan United Co
(Taiwan), Call Home (Taiwan) and Megaline (Taiwan).
Prices at quantities were around 0.25$....

http://www.solorbotics.com is a reliable source, he has a bunch of different sizes
(including teeny-tiny), although I've seen them in different places for
less.

Later,

Hey Peter....

Scan the web and look for RCR, the weekly newspaper for the wireless comm
industry. There are many ads in the back of RCR that sell pager parts, new
and used. For example, try Penncomm, http://www.penncommusa,com. 800-316-2422.

Hope that helps. Phil

http://www.solArbotics.com/ works better, Jon <G>  Small Parts may have
gears etc. to go with those, http://www.smallparts.com/.

I was looking for small solar cells for BEAM robots;  along with small
fan blades to fit pager motors, those *were* on my "Stuck!" list, I'd
spaced SolarBotics.  Great - Thanks, Jon.  That'll help!
