'[OT] Not receiving my own posts!'

Hi folks.
Even that I have set it to receive my own posts on the mailman setup page I am not getting them. It is a little frustrating cause I don´t know if I am posting right. It used to be working so I don´t know what could be happenning, any ideas?
Regards,

Hi Carlos,
With GMail you don't see your own posts. They should show up in your
Sent Mail folder I believe, however if you post a new message it won't
show up in your Inbox. Ever. Even if you are set to have your posts
echoed back to you.

No, it's an option you can set. Head on over to:
http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/options/piclist
Then you can log in with your email address and password (has an option to
mail you your password in case you can't remember the original randomly
generated password you haven't needed to use in the last three years) Scroll
about halfway down the page and click the: Receive your own posts to the
list (X) yes radio button.

Hi Josh,
Thanks for answering. It is a very irritating "feature" of GMail because I can´t even get my own posts with Thunderbird, my email client. It is a shame becasue I was enjoying switching the piclist to my gmail addres. Really irritating.

I use gmail, and use Thunderbird as my email client. I receive my own posts to piclist with no problem.

Have you ever got this kind of problem? Any special set on Thunderbird or GMail?

No, not really. I'll be glad to give you the settings that I use, but lets go off-list to do that, since I doubt that it is something that most people on this list are concerned about. (Although, given some of the inane things that people seem to be deeply concerned about here, I dunno . . . :-)
