'[OT] Looking for lower cost IDC tool'

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on finding a lower cost IDC crimping tool. I want to use this connector for a board to board jumper www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/jst-sales-america-inc/10ZR-8M-P/455-2297-ND/1678841
The tool Digikey sells is almost $2000.00 and for the number of boards I'm doing it's hard to justify this. I would prefer not to have to crimp each pin individually which is why I would prefer IDC style.  In general I find it quite incredible the prices of tools for board to board type connectors and am wondering if people have a cheaper strategy. I would use a ribbon cable here but I am mating to a board with 1.5 mm pitch connectors so am limited to using 1.5 mm pitch board to board connectors. Thanks for any tips on doing this on a budget but keeping the connections reliable.

I'm very sure this is the one I have...
http://www.jameco.com/1/1/47603-ht-214d-idc-dip-plug-crimping-fixture-tool-dual-slot-dip-plug-attachment.html

I haven't used any others so can't say it's the greatest thing on the planet, but it does a good job.

But from the looks of the connector you linked to, it may require some other type of IDC tool?  I use it to crimp connectors like this...
http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/assmann-wsw-components/AWP-16-7240-T/HHKC16H-ND/5031953

I use Hirose DF3 and DF13 connectors as Digikey will crimp pins on the wires as a value add...
www.digikey.com/product-search/en/cable-assemblies/jumper-wires-pre-crimped/1573153?k=df13
http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en/cable-assemblies/jumper-wires-pre-crimped/1573153?k=df3

Not as low-cost as I would like, but I don't have to fuss with it... just the wires into the connector housing and I'm done.  And they do crimping for other connectors also.

Cheers,
-Neil.

Thanks Neil, yes looks like this tool is more for the standard ribbon cable connectors.

I didn't realize Digikey did this. Ya maybe a bit pricey for a small run but like you say avoids the fuss and time of doing it yourself.
Thanks , I'll keep looking for the tool as well.
