from the piclist that attaches it self to out going emails&nbsp; I got it from

called Happy99.exe,&nbsp; my version of Mcafee didn't detect anything but Tim
Ellingtons did.&nbsp; We don't know if it is harmful or not yet.&nbsp; SO
DON&quot;T OPEN and run the file called happy99.exe,&nbsp; delete it from your
hard drive.&nbsp; I have a theory that all it does is leach to emails but I'm
not for certain.&nbsp; I ran the program and it's a fancy fireworks display but
it I think that's when it infected my computer.&nbsp; I have Mcafee running and
it scans every single activity on my computer but it didn't find this one. So
from now on all the emails I send might have this leach email after it.&nbsp;
I've gone through my computer and deleted it and did a virus scan disk and
nothing has show up yet. (yet is the word)</FONT></DIV>

Definitely a nasty program for the Windows 32-bit crowd, as it usually
comes in from someone you know, people are more likely to run it;
Please do NOT run that program though, get the latest data files for
your virus scanner & it'll find it.  Steve's Symantec reference is but
one of many good places to read about it, beta.nai.com has a pointer to
an article about it (& you can get McAfee updates off there as well.)

 If I can help someone disinfect their system, ask <G>  Less likely
here than the dog training forum I'm on for someone to ask for help, I
imagine!

<x-rich>Jason,

By the way,please check the settings in your mail program. You,as well as
many other outlook users, send mail which on mailers like Eudora,shows up
as a VERY TINY font,around 6 point or so. It is DEFINATELY BEST for the
PICLIST anyway,to send plain text if at all possible,because if you send
using the settings you have now, people will need a magnifying glass <<G>
or even worse, on more low-level mail programs,may show up as lots of
gibberish intersperced with your text.

Just trying to improve the chances that your posts will get seen and
answered!

Thanks,

Sean
