Following on about programs such as Brainiac (the YouTube embeddedment)
1.Why are they all standing there with their phones to their ears ringing the hopefully exploding caravan, what do they expect to hear?

2. We have no proof that the caravan is full of petrol vapour, and surely a breathing or face mask might be required when entering the caravan due to alleged vapour concentration in the space shown.

3. Discharging static electricity into a rather long wire which is connected at the other end to what????? is going to ignite the fuel?

I have many doubts about the scientific rigor of the experiment.

Many (most)  things on Brainiac are blatantly  fake. Not seen it for a while but two things that
come to mind are a visible charge on the end of wires in a supposedly self-combusting microwave
oven, and flames from an exploding CO2 fire extinquisher
