Hi Cedric,
Actually is right, a friend of mine was talking to this friend of is who
is a dentist, and he turn to him and said that he could not understand
why Engineers where not better paid as he was making a lot of money
using the wonderful tools design and built by them. As a dentist he just
needed to learn a few procedures and that's it pretty much they are
always the same, and specially with the new technology he said it was
easy. But he said that as an engineer you are in constant training and
have to update your knowledge all the time to keep up with new devices
and such, and you get nothing for it.
I love Engineering, that's why I do it, and I am fully aware that I
could most likely make a lot of money doing something else, but I do not
want to do anything else.
Best regards
Luis

Yes, I do something different every day and learn new things. As a
dentist
I am not sure the job would be very interesting. Also engineering is
like being
Zeus...... creating something from thin air almost.

I have a friend of mine who keeps on trying to analyse me because I am
very interested in everything technology and not so much in anything
people related. He came up with the theory that my love of technology is
a symptom or an effect from some deep rooted cause... and for years he
is trying to find it. I always thought he was a bit funny in the head,
but this Zeus thing... I think he may be on to something here... :)
