'[OT] Datasheet / DIP S/W settings for a Fujitsu M2'
2012\06\09@103945
by

Does anybody have a datasheet, or know the drive address DIP S/W
settings for a circa 1986 Fujitsu disk drive Model number M2243AS ?
The drive is for an old Nixdorf 8870 mini-computer, and I need to recode
one to be drive 1
Many thanks,
Joe

Ooh, that's going back aways ... I do remember the model number.
Is that a 10" platter model, of around 400MB? If so I may still have some info.

I knew the model number was familiar, but on seeing the manual, I think it was used in a different range of gear to what I worked on. The gear I dealt with used the Fujitsu Eagle which was a rack mount 400MB, and had a larger 650 MB sibling, which we never dealt with.
