Hello All

I'm starting a new project that requires a CCD linear array
with at least 2048 pixels, this CCD will be connected to a Pic 16C711.
After doing a "hunting" on the web I've found the Sony ILX511
to meet the specs.
Marshall is a Sony reseller but they don't have the part
in stock and don't accept international backorders with credit card.
Does anyone knows where to find such part or equivalent ?

Thanks for any help.

Have you considered ripping apart a fax machine or hand-held scanner?
Will you need quantity, or just a few?

Yes, I've already opened my hand-held scanner, but I'll need to do some
hacking on it.
Initially I need 8 CCD's so, I prefer to use the "real" thing.

Douglas,
Have you tried Kodak ? I am not sure if their Web Page lists imagers, bu
t
you can all their Microelectronics Division 716  722 4385. I have used
several of their area array sensors.
TI may also be a possible source.
