'[OT] Andy's rants (was List improvement suggestion'
Andy has again spoken without benefit of thought or fact. I know the list
cares little about Andy's rants or my response. I apologize: This is the
last I will say on this topic. I don't like to be called a liar. I am not.
I'll send him private email to straighten him out.
Or maybe I'll take my own advice and ignore him.
Based on past experience, he would only ignore the facts and enjoy the
attention. Yeah, I'll probably let it go. Pearls before swine, battle of
wits with the unarmed and all that. . .
As has been explained (and getting back to the topic), this is a listserver
configuration issue, not a mail reader config issue. This point has been
made and confirmed. It would be nice if Andy would shut up and let some
other opinions be heard.
It is interesting -- some cults teach members the style of debate Andy uses
-- forget logic, ignore the main point and facts, find some little factoid
and try to ignite a big emotional argument that overshadows the real topic.
If that doesn't work, talk loudly and non-stop.
I just wonder *why* he wants to divert attention from this topic?
Oh, and just for the record: Andy and I *have* exchanged email, but
nothing topical to this thread. He keeps insisting some magical Eudora
email filter is what I need. I am always open to ideas, but this won't help.

I can't help but notice that of all of your posts to this list, exactly two
have been on-topic.
Now what was all that about signal-to-noise?
