'[OT] Can anyone confirm Raspberry Pi shipping ?'

Last Wednesday ( 2012m02d29 ) RaspberryPi.org had a big to-do where they claimed to take orders for RaspberryPi modules. Several sales websites crashed as a result. Rumours have abounded... claims of 1 million enquiries about ordering the module. There are rumours of multiple manufacturing efforts.. I have no idea what is true.
My question to the PIClist is..... has anyone you know received a *production* RaspberryPi module or been promised a firm shipping date for March ? I am trying to figure out if they actually shipped or will ship any product ...... I have twittered them repeatedly and while they do respond by calling me a troll and a pessimist, they will not talk about whether they have shipped anything.... there is evidence of ~ 10 prototypes.
Shipping 10 prototypes is much different from shipping 10,000 or more production units.....

The only info I saw was that shipping was 30 days away ...
I don't know if that is for the first 10k units, or subsequent orders ...

Mine is on order with an original date of 38 days. E-14 is now showing 66 days, but I'm assuming that is for the second batch.
If you check earlier on the R-Pi website, you'll see that the first 10K from China didn't arrive in time for the launch date, so they entered into agreements with RS/MSELEC and E-14/Farnell/Newark to manufacture the products themselves and distribute.
I read on an RS email that Sunday alone they received 2K registrations of interest. On the E-14 forum the forum moderator stated that they had over 100K worth of people trying to order on the first day.
Reading between the lines from RS and E-14 the original 10K shipment is going to be diverted to them and then allocations to various countries will take place. I suspect the UK and the US (as there has been much complaining from potential purchasers from there) are likely to get the lions share, though I have read that many US based people have been so upset at the idea of a freight charge direct from the UK (source E-14 R-pi forum, and R-Pi forum) they have opted to receive stock once the UK sends a bulk shipment to the Newark warehouse, which means they are unlikely to see anything before mid May.
