It received a traffic ticket today while parked as per photos.
Why do you think it did?
What do you think it said on the "citation".
All necessary information available in the photos.
The driveway belongs to a neighbour across and two doors up the
street.
They rang the local council who sent a traffic warden.

Maybe there's a bylaw stating the exact minimum distance
permitted a parked car from a driveway. The concern being
that the parked car might shield the visibility of/from
another car pulling out from the driveway.
Here we're required to park 3m minimum from fire hydrants, and some
other minimum distance from bridges (for some reason). I don't think
there's any minimum from driveways (some people get close enough in the
city to make it hard to turn in and out-- generally cars can only legally
park on one side of a residential street at a given time of the month),
but there is also a minimum distance permitted from intersections, even
between small residential one-way streets.

There seem to be a slope in the street. Did you have your hand brake on?

Quite clearly you are blocking the drive - from anyone trying to turn a combine harvester towing another one
into the drive from the side you're parked on...

Well, it seems pretty obvious to me, the car is parked too close to the
driveway.
I don't know about your jurisdiction, but most have a rule regarding
minimum distance from a driveway. The reason is actually safety since a
person coming out of that driveway will have severely reduced
visibility.
I am curious what the citation says, and I find it frustrating that you
didn't include that information in the message (therefore wasting our
time).

Well, if it's for the reason I've specified I wouldn't bother. But since
you didn't include what the citation was for I can't comment.

Here the ticket would say "left wheels to curb"
:)

Before looking at your answer (which I suspect is already posted), I
would suspect that it is "blocking a curb cut", even though the cut
extends significantly beyond the edge of the driveway.
It is clear that the trim strip next
to the turn signal has sagged from extreme
heat. Since the other strips look okay, the
heat is localized.
--- One possibility is that you tailgate then have
to hit the brakes often causing excessive front
wheel braking heat.
thus I would give you a ticket for "abusive driving"
--- Next I might presume that you have run over several
old ladies and perhaps some babies. The strip has bent down
due to the "bounce up" and the heat induced weakness.
thus I would give you a ticket for "vigilante population control"
--- The trim strip seems to suggest a "frowning or smirking" facial
expression on the car.
thus you would receive a ticket for "negative vehicular attitudism"
There a certainly more problems with this car
( strip may be extending 3.3 mm from side of car, thus impeding sight
lanes )
( strip makes whistling noise reminiscent of Mitch Miller )
( strip is aerodynamically unsound leading to waste of resources )

If that is the reason, then the question comes up about how you define
the extent of a "vehicle entrance" to measure the 1 meter.
It could be straight lines drawn extending the
driveway borders. Or it could be from the cut in the curb, since a vehicle
may actually use that space when it turns into the driveway. Photo 10
appears to show the vehicle actually overlapping the edge of the cut.
Here's something from the 1976 NZ legislation (revoked, apparently, but
probably whatever replaced it is similar):
"...for the purposes of this paragraph a vehicle parked alongside any part
of a kerb crossing provided for a vehicle entrance or exit or within 1
metre of the prolongation of the side of a vehicle entrance or exit shall
be deemed to be obstructing entry or exit."
Gotta love that word "deemed". It's also illegal to obstruct even your
own entrance in NZ, even if you are in the car.

I don't think NZ has fire hydrants, Australia doesn't.
Not on roads anyway. They're embedded in the road, or on the side of
the road. Covered by a metal plate. So you can run over them all you
like. There's usually a little sign to show where they are, often
nailed to a telegraph pole.

Similar to the UK - there are no laws here relating to parking near fire hydrants, and they are a hole in the
ground covered by a plate, marked by a low-level sign against the back of the path, which is yellow with a
large "H", and numeric information showing the pipe size, and maybe the distance from the sign to the plate: http://www.angliacampus.com/education/fire/junior/hydrant.htm
