There is a good one every year in Edinburgh. I believe the British
Ministry of Defence organise it, you could try asking them. But I
will warn you they are busy at the moment keeping the British
Public in the dark over Foot and Mouth Disease until after the
General Election.

Can we bring this back to [PIC]:? It might be relevanty to overclocking,
driving larger currents, applying the Vcc backward, (mis) using the
protection diodes, driving Caps without a series resistor, all to heat up
the PIC (and the discussion) and finally apply the PIC to the propper body
part?

Or the improper body part?

That would probably result in a brand, rather than a tatoo.
However, another meaning of the word 'tattoo' if I recall correctly, is a
short musical phrase, particularly if percussive in nature.
I suppose we could use a PIC to generate such a phrase.

The standard way in west Auckland is to get a really amateurish
and ugly one done at school with biro ink and a needle by your
mates and then whinge for years about being unemployable and
disadvantaged

If you really want to get a lot of help with tattooing you'd be
better to go here
http://groups.yahoo.com
and subscribe to a tattooing group. I just entered "tattoo" at the
Search input and got results for 74 groups

At last !!! I can recycle just about everything out of a printer
except the print head. Here's my chance to open the "Whizzo
Tattoo Parlour". 4 full colour tattoos/minute, just stack the
customers in a bin and feed 'em through

another meaning of 'tattoo' is that dwarf from Fantasy Island. Maybe we
could use a PIC to resuscitate him.

Maybe he wants to tatoo the Microchip logo the same reason people tatoo

An expert (from memory possibly a University Professor specialising in
sociology or advertising) said something like, referring to Harley Davidson
Customers
" ... when you can persuade them to tattoo your brand name on their
chests it's unlikely that they are going to change brands ...."

And so we can use it to tatoo the word "UNSCRIBE" onto the users

after placing an inked coin or some inked sharp edged object on it. ;-)

No, since SUBscribe gets you on then it's SUPERscribe to get you off.

It remembers me I have a good story about this
Some years ago, the "line filters" were sold with each computer. Good quality ones, not so good others. I was in a friend's house, and was typing in the "second' computer. The line filter was thrown in the table, and I didn't see the external fuse holder was with the top bakelite broken, exposing the bare metal (110V and "something more"). There were 2 computers, laser printer, modems, monitors, videogame and others connected to the same line filter. The fuse holder was HOT. But it WAS hot (did I said it was HOT???). Suddenly, I touched the exposed metal and got a nice round tatoo, with a point in the middle. It's barely visible anymore (it was some 10 years ago) but for 2 or 3 years, I got a nice tatoo on the back of my hand :o)))
