'[OT]:source for flexible circuit board'

I am fabricating a one-of-kind device for research that requires
lightweight flexible circuit board. Could someone give me a
lead on a source for purchasing small quantities ( one or two
8x12 pieces) of flexible double-sided printed circuit board?
Any help would be appreciated.

You might consider using a plastic substrate...
and a flexible plastic or metal conductor.

How flexible does it need to be? I have some PCB material from
"Rogers corporation, Microwave materials division" (100 S Roosevelt,
Chandler AZ, 85224) Labled "Rogers RT/Duroid", this is perhaps 1/32
inch thick and about as flexible as poster-board (might be a bit more
flexible once most of the copper is off.) I assume this stuff has a
magical dielectric (all teflon?) and costs a small fortune bought new.
(mine was surplus and cheap, heh heh.)

Yup, that's what I'm looking for. Do you recall you surplus
supplier?

I have some old samples that are single sided.
They are BEND/flex brand from
Rogers Corporation Composites Division
One Technology Drive
Rogers, CT 06263 USA
I have no way of knowing if this address is still valid. This was
about 6 years ago!
