Perhaps there's a size limit. I have a 112k pdf I'd like to send.

Your message must be less than 1000 lines, including  MIME or uuencoded
attachments.  A 112K pdf would definitely NOT be a good idea.  There are
numerous places you could post that and include a link to it, including
the PICList.com web site.

5 or 10K is OK, 100K+ is definitely over the top.  Remember it's going to
get sent 1800 or so times...

Croaked on me yesterday with a 54k image, so I just linked
to it instead.

With all but the smallest (say 1k) attachments putting it on a web server
and linking to it is the prefered way. There is also a message size limit of
a certain amount of lines and your 112k pdf would be way over that limit.

Remember, every message sent to the list gets resent almost 2000 times,
that means a lowly 112k attachment becomes 112 MEGs of bandwidth used. TTYL

If the server bounced it, you're the only one who saw it so no problem.
