I'm on another list and the issue of "1,000 words = a good picture"

came up. I thought such a means should be known here on PIC. I tried MS

Paint and, yes, it can draw lines, but... . I would like it to have

preformed electronic symbols that could be applied to a pallet

workspace. Ideas?

I could draw you a PC layout with parts, which is as good as a schematic and

e-mail it to you if you had ExpressPCB.

Another possibility is:

Cadint FREE http://www.cadint.com

Draw your schematic, screenprint (to clipboard), paste into paint, save

as JPG or GIF.  A side benefit is that when you are ready to lay out

your PCB your schematic is already in the needed format.  Cadint outputs

Gerbers ready to go at most board houses.

Well if you already have a schematic package, you can use "printscreen" key

to copy the screen to the clipboard in BMP format. If you then paste this

into a suitable package you can change it to jpg.

Well, thanks, Dave, Nelson, others,

I didn't have a design package when I posted, only Paintbrush. I tried

Dave's idea and downloaded CADINT for free. WOW, it's big and featured.

I'll be trying that for now, though I only was interested in the

schematic design aspect--for now.

I passed the reco'd packages to the guys on that other list, some of

whom are EEs.
