Not for me.  I *much* prefer email.  There's been a number of web
messageboards that I've seen that were interesting but I no longer read them
*because they are web based*.  I'll take email over a web board any day -
especially for high-volume topics.

I agree as well... MUCH prefer e-mail over web based forums... HOWEVER, it
might not be so bad if the e-mail list continued as-is for us guys, with a
decent web forum wrapper around it for those who prefer them...

The STAMP and PICBASIC lists are on Egroups(now owned by Yahoo). I
get mine as email text digests or you can read them with a browser at the
sight. Attachments are stripped. They have a files area for each group to
post files to.

I also subscribe to a couple of lists run through egroups, and get the messages
by email. However I can see no advantage to what we currently run, and much
prefer the search facility that the piclist archive has. I have not tried to do
any real searching of an egroups archive however, as both groups are small.
