That's going to work out quite expensive isn't it ?

$19.95 for the components, but PLUS $24.95 for a pre-
programmed (presumably) not-copiable PIC ?

That's around NZ$110 - it would have me hesitating

Unless they could do you a quantity deal, making your own
from the public domain information might be more cost-
effective in the long run, particularly if you then start selling
on to other train groups. At least that way you might get
your own system for nothing

I think the $25 is the assembled kit as opposed to unassembled at $20.
However, I would just as soon build one (or 6 ...) , for the pure fun of
it.  It does show that 'cheap' is possible - all the others I have seen
were hundreds of dollars.
