'[OT]: Printing .asm files'

Hi all. I have a couple of my .asm files I want to print out so I can
review them on paper. Does anyone have any good technique for doing
this? If I print right from MPLAB, and the lines are too long, it gets
screwed up. I do have Acrobat Distiller, so I could make a .pdf and then
shrink to fit, but what program should I print to Distiller from? What
do you do when you need to print?

Thanks,
Josh

Set your printer (or font) to 128 char per line
mode (often called terminal mode?) instead of the
default 80 char/line. MPLAB has a variable for
page length, I think mine is set to 93 lines/page.
This gives a very nice readable .asm printout
on A4 page.

Using acrobat for text-only printing sounds like
the *worst* idea!

FinePrint

Even at 4 pages/side FP output is quite readable. Very handy
for long listings or tabes. I also find it helps to remove tabs
(notably from other people's work - replace with spaces) and
use Courier or other fixed-space font to get good regular
columns and line indents

I use gprint32 for that (on unixes I prefer a2ps). My gprint32 is a
cracked one, shame one me, but to my defnece I must say that I cannot
locate the author. Anyone knows where I can pay for it?
