I've got to go to Italy (maybe 400km south of Milano) for a couple of weeks. Any suggestions on things to do that won't be found in a guide book, and would appeal to a techno-weenie? Factory tours? I'm not talking religion, taxes, politics or otherwise starting a long OT thread, just requesting marginally related information to be sent privately. If Dale, James or any admin (or regular contributor of useful information- you know who you are) disagrees, please let me know.
