Hello all, I am wondering if anyone out there has ever messed with trying to get a decent frame rate from a Toshiba T6963C based graphical LCD display. I am in need of a routine to do just that.. For some background, my project consists of a 240x64 LCD controlled by a PIC14F877 with a serial interface to a PC. The PC software does all the real dirty work, and the PIC is an interface to the LCD and all the other on-board crap, so if anyone has a C function that does the graphical drawing, that would be ideal. The most I have gotten out of any T6963C based lcd is 2fps, and thats using automode-write. It looked really bad because you could watch it go down the lines drawing the image. I have however seen one company that makes a module that goes between the LCD and computer, that claim will do full motion video to be streamed on the LCD. So it sounds possible to do. It frustrated me to no end but at the time (1 year ago) I thought the problem was with the speed of the BX-24 I had it wired to. If you're interested I can send you all the bits and pieces I found on the net to do with the T6963C including some C source that I found or was sent to me. What the Tiger is doing is to have a image of the LCD in memory, do all the tracing in memory and them dump the whole screen to the LCD.
