Why net piracy? What's your problem about a simple FM transmitter? And what
does it have to do with the net?

But isn't that because Tripod 'give' the space to the customer without charge and just want to throw in a bit of advertising to try and make some revenue.
AltaVista, Hotmail and most everybody else do it as well.
It's a waste of bandwidth I grant you and I've always wondered if this type of advertising actually works but if the space is free......

I didn't see anything but the page you referred to.....however I use a real
neat program called Naviscope that rides my browser. It blocks ALL ads and
stops all pop-up windows, and will prevent servers from opening multiple
browser windows. The program is free and configurable, and works on Internet
Exploder (Internet Explorer) and Netscrape (Netscape) and with any OS. btw,
this DOES NOT capture and dump your activity to anyone either. See their FAQ #6
& 7.

I'm not talking about the ads.
the page is full of tripod pics.
I can't see nothing...maybe it's the problem in my computer, but I see other
non-tripod sites very good

Hum....
Think it's your end.
I saw a quite nice wallpaper with electronic symbols over it and text, pictures of the subject matter.
Looked ok to me.
But if your saying that perhaps your ISP is blocking your access to certain web sites then that is possible - I mean they have the technology if they want to for some reason.
I know in certain countries, China for example, there are certain 'cult' websites that users aren't allowed to access and are blocked.
I suppose the only way to prove is to ask another user who uses your ISP to try or ask the ISP directly.
Of course, it could just be a local routing problem or temporary network outage that will be corrected at some point.

Maybe your link bypassed them?
I tend to ignore or kill pop-ups.
Without knowing your computer setup,ISP,network and so on, I can only guess
as to what is going on, I know Tripod replaces images with their own logo if
you try to use images stored on a Tripod site on non-tripod pages, so maybe
something you are doing trips that up.

You are probably talking about all the pop-up ads. Use a pop-up killer
(available from many sites) or use Opera and tell it not to accept pop-ups.
In the meantime, just close those windows and you can see what is
underneath them.

You are using the wrong browser for web-spam-attack immunity. Try to
upgrade or use another browser.
