microsoft at one time had a dos client for windows networking.
i know this because i ran across a copy one time, and it actually works.
i don't remember if it is available as a download on the ms site or not.
it is fairly hard on memory if i recall.
i probably have a copy hanging around, but i doubt it is public domain.
